Digitech Systems, one of the leading providers of on-demand Enterprise Content Management, have announced major improvements in their product PaperVision Capture.  PaperVision Capture allows the capturing of paper documents and their conversion to electronic formats. Users can also import images and capture documents from fax machines and multi-functional devices, as well as index the images and match them with accurate information from existing databases for secure storage, easier management and quick retrieval.
The new features of PaperVision Capture include improved OCR processing, which automatically processes the paper documents converted to electronic format into searchable indexed files.
The major benefits of the improved PaperVision Capture include:
              • Conversion of scanned images to Microsoft Word, PDF, XML, as well as more than thirty other formats to suit individual needs.
              • Exporting of full-text data to PaperVision Enterprise, ImageSilo, another Enterprise Content Management (ECM) System, or a large variety of other line-of-business applications.
              • Streamline searching for information using a keyword or phrase.
In addition, PaperVision Capture offers intuitive setup that takes only minutes and the option to customize the system according to the users’ preferences.  It includes a point-and-click graphical designer tool for building multiple custom work processes. The built-in auto-formatting and quality control features minimize keystrokes and ensure quick and accurate results.
