ABBYY, the provider of document recognition, data capture, and linguistic technologies, has introduced ABBYY Lingvo Server, the corporate cloud and intranet based solution of the company’s multilingual dictionary, ABBYY Lingvo.

The latest edition can be installed on a web or intranet server for a single and centrally-managed language translation solution for organizations.

"As businesses become increasingly global, proper communications become more critical," said Carmela Wong, VP of Marketing at ABBYY USA. "ABBYY Lingvo Server gives employees across an organization access to an online translation and communications tool, regardless of if they are in the office or using a specific computer. This equips an organization's mobile workers, whether native-English speaking or not, with the necessary tools to work with multi-lingual documents, ensuring that important information isn't lost in translation."

ABBYY Lingvo Server is designed for any organization that constantly needs translation services or improved communication in English by native and non-native speakers. The centrally-managed web or intranet solution can serve a virtually limitless number of users that are located on the corporate network or while on the go. By accessing the solution through a web or intranet browser, the organization employees have access to real-time translation via a sophisticated database of dictionaries.

Some benefits of ABBYY Lingvo Server are:
•    Simple interface with minimal need for support.
•    Reliable translation from a comprehensive set of dictionaries, phrasebooks, corporate glossaries and reference materials.
•    Low total cost of ownership.
•    Easily integrated into existing intranet portal
