Accusoft, the provider of document recognition and imaging solutions, has announced Prizm Content Connect Version 5, a solution for document viewing, collaboration and business management system integration.

With Prizm Content Connect's document viewer, organizations can reduce costs associated with software licensing by bypassing MS Office, Adobe and other software. The application can be integrated into web applications and DMS for distributed file sharing.

This latest release of Prizm Content Connect offers extended functionality of its AutoCAD module with support for the DGN drawing format. The product delivers a single integrated interface that allows users to view any document type or engineering drawing and reference documents without leaving the content management application.

The application offers an AJAX-based document viewer for thin-client viewing from within any browser. Additionally, more mobile client and portable zero footprint options are available. Localization and translation capabilities are also built into the product to provide real-time content and fosters teamwork.
