Pegasus Imaging Corporation, provider of digital imaging technology, recently announced that the company has acquired AccuSoft Corporation’s imaging business which includes the ImageGear and NetVue product lines.
This acquisition will help Pegasus Imaging enhance its positions among providers of digital imaging software development kits (SDKs). “AccuSoft is one of the oldest, most well-established and well-respected names in the imaging SDK marketplace. They are maintaining a strong, healthy business, and the synergies were obvious,” says Jack Berlin, president of Pegasus Imaging. “They have a strong tradition of excellence and we are similar in our philosophies. The result is a formidable set of imaging products.”
AccuSoft customers will receive service from Pegasus’ technical support organization. They will provide feedback regarding their product needs. The new combined operation will be better positioned to make sure its customer needs are exceeded. I’ve seen a real focus on serving the customers, which will be critical during this next phase of growth. I am excited about the possibilities and opportunities this acquisition provides.”
